ONF launched a new virtual series for 2020-2021 that seeks to deliver valuable industry insights about the fast-growing open source movement for building next generation mobile and broadband infrastructures. The ONF Spotlight Series incorporates a combination of virtual live and on-demand content that is accessible to a broad audience across the globe.

The format for each ONF Spotlight includes a number of virtual Live Keynotes along with several pre-recorded plenary and technical sessions. The Live Keynotes are free and open to the public, while the pre-recorded content will be made available to ONF members for early access before being released (and promoted) publicly.

ONF is pleased to announce the 2021 Private 5G for Industry 4.0 Spotlight. This event is focused on exploring enterprise digital transformation with 5G and edge cloud, and registration is now open, and the CFP closes August 6, 2021. 

The ONF Spotlight Series schedule for 2020 included:

How can you get involved? There are several ways: 

• For each Spotlight, a Call for Proposals (CFP) will be opened to invite presentations for panels, breakouts, as well as demonstrations for each Spotlight area of focus. A committee of industry experts together with the ONF technical team will review submissions and select the presentations to be included with each Spotlight forum. Sign up for our newsletter to stay informed of when a new Spotlight is announced. 
• Consider sponsoring one particular Spotlight or the entire Series. 
• Spread the word by inviting colleagues, friends, and others in your network to attend the Live Keynotes or submit content to the CFPs.
• Share the final presentations once they become publicly available, so the wider community can learn and benefit from the great content.
