Introduction

ONF uses Google Groups/mailing lists and Slack as the main channels of communication both internally and with the external community. Below you will find relevant mailing lists and Slack channels to join for each ONF project.

The common mailing list types are as follows:

  • ...-announce - used for project-specific major announcements, like new releases
  • ...-dev - used for communication between project development teams and members
  • ...-discuss - used for communication between project development teams and members (same as ...-dev)
  • ...-all - used for all project collaborators, including academia and other non-development-related folks


IM/Chat: We use Slack for real-time chat communications.  There are different Slack Workspaces for different projects.  An invitation is required to join a Slack Workspace, but you can easily get an invitation yourself.  Here are the different Slack Workspaces and links to request invitations:
