  • Have discussed ControlConstruct, View mapping, building up of controller (TR-512.A.15)
  • Challenges
    • O-RAN is not up to the level of thinking of OIMT yet and thus it will difficult for them to use the ONF model now
    • There are inconsistent or even completely different view/understanding of the term "slicing" in O-RAN and at large in the industry
    • Heavily 3GPP-minded in O-RAN
  • O-RAN is supposed to be operator-driven but so far it lack of input from operators.
  • Will try to identify potential people (operators) to engage
