TR-512.8 Control

ND

Further discussed the multiplicities of the association ends among the object classes ControlConstruct, ConstraintDomain, ViewMappingFunction, ExposureContext, VmfPort, and CdPort.

  • Should the multiplicity at the EC end of the ViewMappingMapsExposureContext association be * or 2
  • Vmf maps ECs of different CDs, not the ECs within the same CD.
  • In the essence, EC is the view of a pruned/refactored subset of a CD.
  • Vmf maps input EC to output EC
  • Consider simplifying the model
  • There are different levels of view
  • Thus different levels of view mapping
  • Separate diagrams for different level of view mapping
  • ND to draw 3 different diagrams
  • The core model Vmf and the ITU-T Link discovery function

Plan of next calls

16 March

  • View mapping associations and multiplicities

Future
